Well, darn the bridge washed out. Could you give me a lift? The Goddess turned and faced me. "No." The Goddess looks coldly at me. "Well, darn." I knew I should have repaired my broomstick instead of selling it for parts. hmmm.... looks around in my backpack "Rope!" smiles. "Thank goodness in a rare moment of enlightenment I packed my elven-rope! Well, there's hope yet in this old traveler." pats the rope affectionately and makes a lasso. "Okay, rope. Do your thing! Land on a branch and hold on tight!" I twirl the lasso around my head and then thrust it forward with a spell and a prayer! Will it reach across that great divide???
