Taoist priest holding a lantern leads a line of jiangshi hopping…

About this image

This atmospheric dark horror artwork draws on classic Chinese folklore, depicting a Taoist sorcerer leading a procession of jiangshi (hopping vampire zombies) through a mist-shrouded gnarled forest under a glowing full moon. Cool moody blue night tones contrast sharply with the warm flickering glow of the priest's inscribed paper lantern, with yellow Taoist fu talismans pinned to the zombies' foreheads and strung on bare twisted trees lining the damp muddy path. The eerie, unsettling scene features scattered skulls and hanging ritual bells, leaning into classic supernatural horror and East Asian ghost story aesthetics.

When I was a kid, I'm scared of watching Hong Kong vampire movies 😅
