[May 1952 Amazing Stories pulp cover of female pilot flying red rocket over prehistoric Venus landscape with dinosaurs]
This is a vintage May 1952 issue of *Amazing Stories* science fiction pulp magazine, featuring iconic retro-futuristic cover art in a warm golden-yellow and deep red color palette. The illustration shows a female pilot navigating a bright red Scout-7 rocket above a lush prehistoric alien Venus landscape filled with dinosaurs, pterosaurs, smoking volcanoes, and tropical jungle foliage, with cover text teasing planetary adventure stories including Harold M. Sherman's novel *The Last Frontier*. The classic midcentury pulp art style leans into retro sci-fi themes of space exploration, alien worlds, and thrilling lost world adventure.
