This pulpy retro-futuristic sci-fi artwork depicts a distressed, surprised female space pilot in a torn red crop top and black shorts, restrained by a menacing grinning brass robot inside a vintage, gauge-filled spacecraft cockpit. Warm character tones of gold and red contrast sharply with the cool icy blue and deep starry sky visible through the large cockpit window, showcasing a frozen mountainous alien planet under a bright glowing star. The piece leans into classic 1950s pulp space opera tropes, with dramatic lighting, exaggerated expressive character design, and a dramatic tense mood.

Prompt: A frightened young woman aboard a spacecraft recoils as a large retro-futuristic robot restrains her with mechanical pincers in this vintage pulp science-fiction illustration styled by Luis Royo. She wears a torn red blouse and dark shorts, while her wide eyes, open mouth, and defensive posture convey alarm. Behind them, analog gauges, control panels, and a large angular window overlooking a star-filled alien landscape create a classic mid-century space-adventure setting.
