Surreal fantasy artwork of
Bearded South Asian male artist rests in a sunlit art studio beside an easel holding a half-finished female portrait sketch.
This intimate, moody scene captures a bohemian bearded painter pausing mid-work in his cozy, lived-in art studio, surrounded by worn paint supplies, wooden decor, and small spiritual statues. Muted earthy warm tones, soft natural window light, and wispy curling smoke create a quiet contemplative mood, as the artist holds a paintbrush beside his work-in-progress charcoal portrait of a woman on a standing easel. The cluttered, personal workspace highlights the calm, immersive creative process of a fine portrait artist.

Entry in the Haiku Prompting theme on BudgetPixel.

darn, the turban slipped stoned artist sits quietly -- unfinished portrait ©2026 I wrote the haiku after creating my Medusa image. Since she accompanies the haiku, I didn't have to say Medusa. the second image uses only the haiku for a prompt.
