Eyeglass girls unite! 😆 I like to think I'm above average (like, a 6 out of 10 maybe haha). I think the only reason I got dates in college was because I went to a STEM school that was only 20% girls so even the plain Janes like me got set upon haha. As for Gael, one of the themes in her novel is the irony of being an attractive woman when you're 100% sapphic. Because in that situation, even though half the population thinks you're attractive, it's still really hard to find companionship because most girls are straight and thus not interested even though you're pretty.

I mean I think glasses on a girl are sexy AF! Always have. And I have to wear them too. And nerdy is a plus not a negative. And I'm sure Gael thinks you are gorgeous and I trust her judgment based on previous conversations (wait maybe I don't since I'm insecure about myself, but I definitely trust her judgment in picking you). I mean Kate is blonde for a reason in my story too. LOL Anyway, I'm glad you have each other. It's good to know that there are still happy couples and love in the world.

Yes, we all know that joke, but Gael says the problem is the spaghetti tends to harden straight again once it's no longer wet haha. And many a sapphic song has channeled this frustration, Chappel Roan's Good Luck, Babe, being one of the most recent. As for her novel, it's a SLOW burn, and by slow, I mean like molasses. The girls don't even kiss in the entire first novel! I'm like, come on, Gael, they have to at least kiss! But nope...

Ah sorry for the confusion: IRL I have brown hair and Gael is the blonde, but this image modifies the previous group image ("In a Fascist hellscape, we treasure our friends") and in that one, we're using our fairy avatars where I have blonde hair and Gael has silver hair. When I asked SD5P to change the image from a hellscape to a discotheque, it also removed my wings haha.

Yes nerdy eyeglass girls unite for sure! You are selling yourself short I'm sure but I will say no more because as I said I'm quite insecure about my looks as well. Yes our dating pool is quite shallow. But then I'm sure you've heard about how straight girls are like spaghetti yes? LOL Really want to read this book of hers, it sounds good...

Haha thanks, but those are just our avatars, Ash. IRL I wear glasses and am actually pretty nerdy. (Although Gael is quite attractive, as blondes tend to be. Or maybe I just have a thing for blondes haha.)
