Tea with Alice and the Cheshire Cat Special Guest Star: an akagashira, a yokai

About this image

This whimsical steampunk Alice in Wonderland webcomic from artist Cayla Catz, part of the Freaky Fridays series, depicts a cozy surreal tea party between steampunk-styled Alice, a top-hat wearing Cheshire Cat, and a surreal red-haired fantasy creature. The vintage illustrative art uses a rich palette of purple, brass gold, and teal, with ornate Victorian tea ware and fantastical steampunk castle scenery in the background. The comic's dreamlike dialogue explores quiet Wonderland philosophy, closing with the line "In Wonderland, even silence has something to say."

that's a good question. Maybe. And since it's yokai, maybe the eyestalks can even stretch so he can see around corners?

Cool eyes—will he be able to lift them up like a snail?
