Anthropomorphic ginger steampunk cat detective examines a clockwork automaton in a gear-filled vintage inventor workshop
This whimsical steampunk fantasy artwork depicts an anthropomorphic ginger tabby cat detective dressed in Victorian leather wear, a goggle-adorned top hat, examining a wooden brass clockwork automaton with a brass magnifying glass across a cluttered workshop desk. The richly detailed scene features warm aged wood and brass tones, scattered vintage inventor tools, an open case file detailing a missing inventor investigation, and a round porthole window looking out over a spired steampunk city skyline. Intricate background gearwork and wall clocks reinforce the retro-futuristic, mysterious industrious steampunk aesthetic.

QT: Steampunk Detective An inventor disappears. His daughter is concerned and hires her friend Alicia who happens to be a wonderful detective. Alicia studies the inventor's workroom, the half-made robot with a clockwork heart, and the tools left behind. Quiet clues like breadcrumbs that might find a lost father. What do you think happened to the inventor? Where did he go? Is he coming back? I also published the image on Instagram cactus_haiku with a senryu. Not really a good senryu tho so didn't redo it here. I also published it on bluesky. I am testing alternatives to X as now that I'm away I may not go back. Instagram is problematical as you can't put links in your description although you can in your profile. However you need to have your phone attached to Instagram to change the url and I don't. I'm not into giving my phone to social platforms. Blusky has limited characters but no problems with links. However artists who fled X due to the influx of ai art went to blusky and aren't friendly to ai art according to chatgpt so I'm not sure how friendly Blusky will be to ai art. I am not a robot and I've decided social platforms that are driven by robot algorithms to shadowban real humans is not how I want to spend my time. Under those AI algorithims, bots can still rake in the followers because it's easier for bots to follow all the algorithms little rules where simply saying thank you too often can run you into trouble. A bot doesn't care about being rude. The whole idea of a bot teaching me to be rude, not to reply too often to people, not to share or be part of a community is just whacked to me. With X, their AI algorithm is constantly censoring my art & speech& it's just weird. It feels like to save money X is having AI write the AI algorithm which censors real humans. Bots don't complain about being censored. They just adjust to the algorithm and move on. Humans complain. I can change to fit the algorithm but I'd rather find a place to be free

Great story setup, Catz! πŸ˜‰βœ¨ I have a feeling the inventor planned his disappearance and expects Alicia to solve it. Wishing you the best in finding a platform where your art can shine freely! ⭐🌟✨
