Nibble on My Licorice Heels

Lyrics: Nibble on My Licorice Heels

[Intro] Hey, sugar, don’t stare too long These shoes are sweet, but the heels are strong Red twist, black lace, candy appeal Come a little closer—nibble on my heel! [Verse] I walked in late to the candy bar Licorice stilettos made me a star Every head turned when I crossed the floor Then some girl whispered, “Can I taste some more?” I said, “Easy, darling, mind the shine These heels are handmade, and both are mine You can admire every spiral and seal But ask real nicely if you want a meal!” [Pre Chorus] They’re twisted high They’re glossy bright They look so good You could snack all night [Chorus] Nibble on my licorice heels Tell me how the sugar feels Black and red with a candy curl Sweetest shoes on the sweetest girl Nibble, nibble, take one bite Don’t you chew them out of sight Dance all evening, laugh and squeal Then nibble on my licorice heel! [Post Chorus] Nibble to the left Nibble to the right Candy-shoe fever all through the night! [Verse] I wore them down to the old café The waitress dropped every tray The chef ran out with a silver plate Said, “Those look better than the dessert I made!” At the art show, people formed a line To study every strawberry vine One critic said, “This changes style!” Then took one bite and began to smile [Pre Chorus] They’re twisted high They’re glossy bright They look so good You could snack all night [Chorus] Nibble on my licorice heels Tell me how the sugar feels Black and red with a candy curl Sweetest shoes on the sweetest girl Nibble, nibble, take one bite Don’t you chew them out of sight Dance all evening, laugh and squeal Then nibble on my licorice heel! [Break] Stop! Don’t eat the buckle Don’t bite the strap And whatever you do— Don’t finish my matching handbag! [Interlude] [Instrumental] [Verse] By midnight, one heel was getting thin But I kept dancing with a wicked grin I lost one inch, maybe two or three Still had enough shoe left for me The band played fast, the whole room spun Candy and fashion had become one I raised my foot and shouted, “Deal— Everybody gets one nibble from the heel!” [Bridge] Some girls wear satin Some girls wear steel Some girls wear diamonds But mine are a meal If fashion gets hungry I know what to do I wear my dessert And I dance right through! [Build Up] One little bite Two little bites Three little bites tonight! [Chorus] Nibble on my licorice heels Tell me how the sugar feels Black and red with a candy curl Sweetest shoes on the sweetest girl Nibble, nibble, take one bite Don’t you chew them out of sight Dance all evening, laugh and squeal Then nibble on my licorice heel! [Hook] Sweet on the bottom Wild on the top Nibble on my heels But don’t make me stop! [Outro] Red twist Black shine Candy shoes are looking fine One last dance One last squeal One last nibble on my licorice heel! Hey! Leave me enough to walk home!
