Figured that everyone else would be doing realistic pets in chaos action, so to stand out I should I do the pets in a more illustrated style. After experimenting with a few art styles, I just couldn't decide which one to go with, so I thought I would try meshing various art styles into one room and visual. I was fairly satisfied with this just after a few rounds of work - thought it would need a lot more rounds to integrate the various art styles well. Ranked 64 out of 80 entries in the end (had very low ELO at the 1300s at one point), and based on the top 10 I guess the takeaway is that the preference is to see cute pets causing trouble in their realistic, real life form.

About this image

This whimsical, detailed cartoon illustration depicts a hilariously chaotic living room scene, where a group of rambunctious dogs and mischievous cats have created a massive playful disaster, knocking over houseplants, shredding fabric, unrolling toilet paper, and scattering debris across the floor. The warm vintage-style art features a bold "CRASH!" comic sound effect, cheeky guilty and giddy expressions on every pet, mid-century home decor including a teal sofa, wooden bookshelves, and retro floral wallpaper, perfectly capturing the relatable silly humor of pet owner life. The soft warm beige, teal, and golden orange color palette keeps the tone lighthearted and comedic, leaning into the charm of goofy pet mischief.
