An ancient onslaught against dark forces

About this image

This epic grimdark fantasy illustration depicts a massive invading undead army of skeletal warriors, hooded ghostly specters, and mounted dark riders charging across a churning, corpse-strewn flooded wasteland. Set during a raging thunderstorm, the scene features cool desaturated charcoal and icy blue tones, crackling overhead lightning, gnarled dead trees, crumbling ancient ruins, and glowing ethereal blue eyes on the spectral undead forces. The menacing, apocalyptic mood evokes classic dark fantasy tropes of the wild hunt, cursed armies, and end-times battle lore.
