Terrified falling man reaches for the viewer

About this image

This dramatic surreal digital artwork depicts a catastrophic gravity distortion event tearing through Manhattan's 5th Avenue, where the entire cityscape twists into a spiraling tunnel vortex. A terrified, outstretched man falls toward the viewer amid floating yellow taxi cabs, street signs, rubble, and other falling people, with moody warm and shadowed lighting emphasizing the crumbling, warped urban landscape. The disorienting dynamic composition conveys intense panic, sci-fi apocalyptic horror, and the visceral feeling of being pulled into a collapsing dimensional rift.

Thank you! I'm so glad you noticed that, since it's exactly why this one was chosen over the rejects (the other post) 😂

I don't generally care for the Inception / Multiverse of Madness look, because I feel it's been done to death at this point, but I had to admit that this was a striking image. Congratulations on third place!

I voted for this but didn't realise the vortex is made up of buildings until I took a second look now. Awesome visual!
