⌜QT⌟ Daily Challenge Rejects - Reality Glitch This time around, the creative process was pretty straightforward: I wanted to bend reality into a spiral. I believe my submission was better though, since the warping effect on the building was much clearer.

About this image

This cinematic surreal sci-fi illustration shows a disorienting spiraling vortex tearing through a dense downtown city, as a terrified outstretched man falls toward the viewer surrounded by floating cars, flying rubble, and panicking onlookers on a cracked crosswalk. Muted grays, dark storm clouds, and warped broken skyscrapers build a tense apocalyptic dystopian mood, with a street billboard reading "REALITY IS BREAKING APART" leaning into the reality-bending, surreal theme of the piece. The hyper-detailed digital art uses a distorted fisheye perspective to amplify the dizzying, catastrophic feeling of the city collapsing into an interdimensional rift.
