About this image
This moody surreal digital illustration depicts a steampunk-themed Cheshire Cat, with soft textured turquoise fur, striking golden amber eyes, and a vintage top hat fitted with an antique pocket watch. The right side of the cat's portrait dissolves into a fragmented pixel art glitch effect, contrasting the hyper-realistic rendering of the left side of its face and detailed steampunk attire including a knotted linen cravat. The dark atmospheric background features subtle additional clock details, leaning into a moody, whimsical dark fantasy aesthetic tied to Alice in Wonderland lore.

Thank you! Yeah, I base the artwork more on early 1800s illustrations. The problem with doing the cheshire cat is the Burton version is so strong in the AI that it kept coming out looking like the purple movie version. Not what I wanted. I wanted more of a wise-cracking sarcastic cynical cat who was curious to discover new things and loved people, tho he hates to admit. I do a daily Alice and Cat and that's him but more painted than in the comic page version. Thank you for the award!
really? Thank you! I didn't do well at all but I didn't expect to. I did a woman one too who would have done better in scoring but I love cats. And the Cheshire cat is my hero. He's so fun. I'm glad you like him too.

Of course, Cheshire is one of the greatest characters ever made imho. I love how weirdly obtuse and cryptic he is; like some all-knowing trickster god that is trying to get everyone in on the joke😁
yeah, that was a bit hard to prompt. I kept generating, change a word or two, generate, change until finally it got there. I should have just asked copilot to fix it. It would have been faster.
He just might be one. Trickster gods -- I wouldn't be surprised if more than one or two were also shapeshifters including becoming a cat. Hecate, goddess of the night, could turn into a cat
I remembered voting for this and was wondering if was from you. It is very different from the usual cutesy and cartoony visuals that you do of cats. Awesome work!
Thank you! I appreciate it. I did a woman too who would have done better in the votes than the cat but I liked the cat so in he went.

What, you mean people didn't vote for Chesire? He might just pay them a little visit, then...
No wonder I scored so low! You couldn't vote for me multiple times! darn!

This time I saw it and voted for it; I assumed it was yours.🙂
