Adventurer in a dark temple fires a pistol

About this image

A dramatic fantasy action scene featuring a lone hunter in a long coat and hat, blasting a pistol at two glowing, ethereal wolves adorned with ornate golden collars. The hunter also wields a blazing sword, creating a striking contrast of fire and magic against the ancient stone interior with moody, cinematic lighting.

A dramatic fantasy scene featuring a Victorian-era gunslinger in a dark coat and top hat, wielding a blazing flaming sword and a handgun. He faces two snarling, green-energy emanating hellhounds in a marble-tiled museum corridor, blending magical combat with noir atmosphere. The image combines medieval mythos with steampunk aesthetics to create a high-energy, cinematic battle.

In this high-fantasy action scene, a noir-inspired investigator in a Victorian coat faces a spectral, energy-wreathed wolf inside a dim, tiled chamber. The dramatic contrast of fiery orange sword and emerald-green energy creates a cinematic monster-battle vibe with rich mood and magical visuals.

Just published the 1st 2 images over on the 'other site'.😄 There was a time I would've liked to have written more & of better quality...but these days I'm content with just a shorter entry in the description (if at all) as not many see my images anyway..let alone bother to read stuff!🤣

Thanks. If it is a short story maybe I'll read it now when it is on my mind, rather than waiting. I am on a long weekend as we have a national holiday Tues so took leave for Mon. So I have a little more time to indulge myself

Hey jmn! I've read a lot of H.P.Lovecraft's tales...& also many more by authors that loved the mythos he created. Although I was interested in the rpg, sadly I didn't ever get the chance to play it.

Oh cool, I've seen and played things inspired by the original, but never played the TTRPG either😔. Anyway, just thought I'd ask🙂

Many thanks! My take on the 'Hounds of Tindalos'. Not strictly how they were described..but I think it fits the mythos well.

Maybe I'll try one or two when I finish book 4 of Wheel of Time, before starting another Malazan novel.

Ah-ha. I think my son has an anthology of Lovecraft but I've never read anything by him
