  ok, so the Zone is really really bad. Outside the Zone, some places are messed up while other places are normal? So kind of like after WWII where some parts of the world saw heavy fighting and it took awhile to rebuild after the war; but some parts of the world were untouched by the war except maybe they sent fighters who returned emotionally and/or physically damaged. Like that? Or is all the world like Europe was after the war? having to rebuild slowly after being torn apart

  lol those two are cute. No, I thought outside the Zone other areas were ok and only the Zone was messed up so it was more or less exiled and roped off from the rest of the world. Given the things that leak out of the Rift, I did think they had problems keeping the things in the Zone in the Zone. So I thought Paris was outside the zone.

  😄OK, I know since you asked "to Paris and on in Paris" but I just couldn't resist 😄 Ny idea - since this is an alternate world -is that it is a war-torn world. Haven't the details yet - this is a work in progress after all - but many places on the planet are not so good to be. -But not as weird and dangeous as the Zone. Not even by half!

  Yes!!! This adds up to Stargazer being in a war for 12 years as I said in the blog and @DavidP 's story of Davydos in his blog, where Africa is mainly peaceful and un-ruined
