WLW Songs: Off With My Fear - Alice’s Song The song tells the story from Alice’s perspective as she enters Wonderland and is warned about the feared and cruel Queen of Hearts. Expecting a tyrant, Alice instead encounters a woman hiding vulnerability beneath power. Over the course of a single night, the Queen reveals her true self—tired of control, loneliness, and expectations—and forms a deep, unexpected connection with Alice. What begins as fear turns into understanding, then into love, leading the Queen to abandon her throne, her past, and even her marriage. Together, the two women leave Wonderland behind, choosing freedom and each other over power and fear.

Your absence from that platform is palpable. You are missed! With Robyn banned permanently and Valerie only going on occasionally now, and their new points rules and extremely strict censoring, I can see why. BP is pretty cool, but the flow is complex and there is a lot I haven’t figured out (including challenges) so I’m building points here and hoping to get better used to the flow.

Wow this is really something @germancowboy - your lyrics have a great flow and the music has an almost Celtic vibe to them. I could hear Lorena McKennitt singing this.
