Oh, no, I was not talking to that ghost-y Centurion (or whatever) guy. I was talking to my Big Cousin. I want him to see the long-term effects of green-glowing vodka. (I guess we're on the same page on this with that vampire gf of his. THAT's a first!) Romans do indeed drink wine. Greeks drink ouzo. Modern Greeks that is, as it was made aroun mid-19th century

  • @CaylaCatz ·

another cousin??? how many do you have? And he's Roman! Don't they drink wine or ouzo?

  • @CaylaCatz ·

No wonder he's haunting you! He thinks it's unfair he never got to taste ouzo!

omg! I tried & tried & tried. I even googled specialty words for the ship, prow, the back and the sail. And it kept doing a viking ship anyways. Finally I used a starter image from the web and did img-to-img. Then I got really close. The first image is close but the spiral is usually towards the mast rather than away. Still much better than the viking ships I was getting. A great site that showed different roman ships that can help you find what you are looking for. https://naval-encyclopedia.com/antique-ships/roman-ships Also not as good but Wiki has this https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Category:Models_of_ancient_Roman_ships and this https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Graffito_depicting_large_merchant_ship_House_of_the_Ship_Europa_Pompeii.jpg . img-to-img will change whatever image you use but it will use it as a starting point so it's better. I did a blog if you don't know how to use img-to-img. It's easy. https://budgetpixel.com/blog/using-imgtoimg-to-create-a-new-image

Well! Don't you think krakens are upset at the way humans first invade their territory and then murder them??? Of course, their ghosts may rise up for revenge. Luckily, I can't see ghosts so I just ignore them and I tell my ship's crew to ignore them too. Every pirate knows you don't want to give them any power by actually believing in them, do you? Fear gives them strength!

Worth a try. img2img make start image 1 the first and start image 2 the third. This prompt may work "Replace the prow on the ship in start image 1 with the prow of the ship in start image 2. Keep the rest of start image 1 as-is, idencitcal, no changes". For cost of 45 in sd-4-5 it's worth a try 😀

Good luck! I think a reference image helps because some images (like Viking long ships) are so drummed into the AI, it's hard to get it to stop thinking about it.

  • @CaylaCatz ·

I'll try that. Probably in a bit as there are a few QTs I want to do and they are already a couple of days old which is eons in real time.

  • @CaylaCatz ·

thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed them. Yeah, I probably shouldn't have included the middle two but I love how the prows turned out with the hand and snake.
