Wow! I didn't know this story of Lovecraft. Someone said his dreams was unreal, could never come true and he died? Maybe the person lied, jealous of his youth and immortality and wanted to hurt him as they were hurt by their own aging and knowing they can't be young again

Thank you! It's a short story of Lovecraft's, I don't think it figures as the title of one of his collections of stories. It's not one of his horror stories - obviously - but it belongs to his Fantasy "DreamLands" series. (If you ever played "Call of Cthulhu" RPG, there is a sourcebook with that title, telling all about his Lands of Dream)

You are wellcome. "The Dream-Quest..." is the climax of the "DreamLands", much longer in length and bringing together most of the places and the characters in the earlier stories in one narrative.

Thank you for the information 😊 Good possible, that when it is not in the horror collections, that I don't have it 😅 ... I think, I only know "The Dream-Quest of Unknown Kadath" about the dreamlands.

I see, thank you for the information ... I will see, if I find the other ones and have a look at them.
