My sense, though we never discussed it (my son when he showed me the memes) is that it is a re-dramatisation of the novels, one per season. That would be great given extended duration - if they do a good job. The cast is all new. I agree trying to cast a Rickman-esque Snape would be wrong. But having read the books and furthe formed mental images based on the films, the rest of the casting was excellent. The people cast seemed to fit the character from the book. Choice for Snape stands out even more for not appearing anything close to how you might imagine Snape, based on the novels. Looks far too much like other factors were a big influence.

I can't say too much about this. I think one can debate the merits of race, gender and orientation swapping when dramatising existing novels. I lean moe to not doing it. Rather find other suitable material or write originall stories. Where there is ambiguity by all means make appropriate choices. But when eg Amazon make Galadriel a lesbian, I think they are just going too far. Like casting Idris Elba as James Bond. But maybe I am just too close-minded

Thank you! I notice you do magic once in awhile (maybe I'm wrong and it's just cuz of the DC). Today is the magic -punk day so if you'd like to join, just use one of the words on the Tuesday list in your prompt of 30 words or less and then link your image in the comments. I add people's entries into the blog under the day's entries. https://budgetpixel.com/blog/punk-daily-challenge-april-9-15-2026?

no worries. It's almost over. Wild Wednesday is the last day. I just found out how to share other people's pictures inside the blog post so I'm doing that this time too. I know how much time just keeping up with notifications, not to mention creating, takes so I totally understand

Thank you so much, I don't have much time and with the challenge, it's already taking up too much of my time, that's why I'm not going to Night Cafe, because otherwise I wouldn't have enough time, but if something cyberpunk comes up and you want it, it's yours.

I didn't read Good Omens but watched the Amazon series which was quite fun. I haven't seen this film but I would like to. Too bad DVDs don't go on sale like they used to. I used to be able to find them for $5-$8 US. That was really nice.

Let's keep it short and see they do. And these days with all the identity swapping - latest fiasco is the casting of Snape in a Harry Potter series - the memers went wild. --- again don't stress trying to catchup my posts, comments, replies

My storage is almost full so I'm just thinking of what blog should I write next and just confused what all old images should I delete to create new. And also I'm experimenting to create images related to my next blog...

Oh good! I have such a bad memory, lol, it worries me. I don't people to roll their eyes and say, oh she said this 3x already. Now I have a lot more sympathy for people who tell me the same story 5x, lol.
