Paying tribute to 2 of my favourite movies of all time. I was thinking that the curved city landscape collapsing might not a good execution of the theme of abandonment. But I guess I was too eager to put in the Inception reference that seems like an idea too contrived now. Maybe I should have explored my other idea of putting Wall-E in a city that is in a more run-down and deserted state. Even though the reception for it was not good (35 out of 51), I am happy with the concept and what eventually materialised.
