Well, she is from another Realm, where there is a Race of Vampires -not humans turned to supernatural predators. They need very small quantities of blood for survival (it IS considered a delicacy - even a treat - though) They bred animals for this (as we do for food), though in modern times it's mostly synthetic blood they use. Other than that, they're like us: Some are bad, some are good, most fall in-between. Of course, their race evolved as predators - and that comes to the fore, given the right triggers...given MANY triggers, let me add! (Hint: DON"T make them angry!) {forgot to tell that blood-drinking speeds their healing x50!} Most of our lore about vampires don't apply to them and it led to some hilarious misunderstandings at first, about what Amalia could abd could not do) So, yes, they eat normal food (they need it) and they drink whetever we do - including vodka. Though Amalia won't touch the green-glowing vodka. -"But it's great!" I tell her "Trust me!......

"but you know, it's vodka! and it's glowing??? like that spider is glowing?" Kinda like that, now that you mention it. Do you think it's on green-glowing vodka, too? Though, I swear to you, after the third bottle of green-glowing vodka, that spider starts looking more like a cat to me...oh, well. Don't talk to Amalia about soap-operas. Over at her world they only have something called "blood-opera" Which I'm NOT going to watch. EVER. No matter how many green-glowing vodka bottles I have downed.

Yeah, I agree. It would be nice if we could share as non pros. I had more credits when I was a nonpro. Funny thing is last Thanksgiving NC had a pro sale like half off or more so I joined it. I found out I don't save as much credits from my daily activities because pro costs more. I actually had more coin to give away as a nonpro. Strange, right?

It's probably because with pro, if I save enough, I tend ot spend it on making a video. Videos eat up credits. It's also harder to earn a good chunk of credits on NC to offset an experiment run of images. I like BP because I can post my experiments here on a blog post and shae them as a group. It's fun.

laughing. I can see why you have a high survival rate. So that's why she's not happy. No sharing. Sharing food is very important in some cultures. Maybe the medic can make her a cupcake to compensate. I find sweets go a long way when peole are a tad grumpy or hungry.

lol, as the cities have co-opted more of the forests, many have learned to survive. And yet, during Obon, they go back to visit the countryside and its temple for a week to pay homage and to keep their gods happy. Unhappy gods can wreck havoc.

Damn, I should cut back on those bottles of vodka. But what can one do? I mean I found a whole STOCK of them in that cellar, in Pripyat. (OK, Amalia DID ask what the f@#k was that green glow, but what does she know about vodka? She's a vampire.)
