Astronaut on the lunar surface gazing

About this image

A lone astronaut stands on the moon's rocky surface, facing a large portal that frames a sprawling future metropolis inhabited by towering robots. The artwork blends sci-fi realism with a dreamy, space-age mood, using cool blues and metallic tones to evoke otherworldly wonder and exploration.

A surreal sci-fi scene shows an astronaut standing on a lunar surface as several large dinosaurs emerge from a bright, palm-tree-filled portal. The contrast between the dark starry space and the sunlit prehistoric landscape creates a dramatic, adventurous mood, with vivid greens of the dinosaurs and the tropical backdrop enhancing the fantasy vibe.

Thank you! I was experimenting with the image2image so the first one was my image with Cheinia's image. The second one was just Cheinia's image but I added a quick prompt to fill the box. It was my first time to use that feature here although I've done it before on NC by putting a steampunk balloon in various places. It's a fun exercise. HOw did you like doing it?

I tried it both ways just to see how it worked. The 2nd in the 1st is much cleaner into the box. Just the image and text, there was spillage outside the box. I kind of like the spillage as it creates a more portal effect vs a movie screen effect

Funny how the mind works. I never thought of just Cheinia's as the strat image and describing the second image, rather than using two and trying to place the second inside the box.

And again, I guess it is how you intrepret and what you want. I had one with spillage and deleted it.

Splendid work! I had also thought about dinosaurs and then chose another idea. Congratulations

I agree. It's how you want the scene to play out

Love the story told in the first.

Yeah, but how did get the astronaut image? I had to download it and upload it. The assets button only showed my assets. Was their another way to get Cheinia's image? Once I uploaded it, in the prompt box for p-image-edit, I did "fill the white space with the Jurassic era and dinosaurs" which sounds like what you did. Is there another way to get the astronaut besides download/upload?

Thank you for the tip! Much appreciated. On your original post, @NielsCarlsen asked about how to do it. I answered with a written explanation. However, I thought I saw a blog post on img2img tutorial before. I can't find it now. I looked through your blog posts but it wasn't you. Do you perhaps know a img2img tutorial blog link so I can give it to him?

I downloaded the image and reuploaded it. I was able to use it on different models. I didn't use GPT1.5. I used Grok to insert a 2nd image. On a seperate image, I used p-image-edit and just prompted the dinosaurs on the uploaded image. I couldn't see her prompt so that seemed the simplest way for me to do the challenge
