About this image

A dim, ruined hospital sets a post-apocalyptic mood as a camouflaged soldier with a rifle and gas mask guards a wounded patient on a bed. A blonde woman in a black leather jacket stands close by, while ghostly figures and decay fill the background, conveying tension and survival in a dystopian setting.

I really love the way you deal with big casts and visual storytelling in your images. Everyone looks cool, has meaningful stuff to do, the dramatic tension is crear and engaging, and the worldbuilding is always on point. On top of that, this particular piece seems to deliver an unexpected but really satisfying STALKER/Silent Hill crossover!

....as long as they keep their distance. There is just something in their appearance that doesn't inspire confidence.. I mean, look at their uniforms! Haven't they heard about shiny-white starched smiling nurse look? (OK. They DO smile seeing us - but why do they lick their lips, too? And, boy@ - way TOO many teeth in that smile...)

...as soon as Irina has some medical supplies out of that room, for little Katya, we run like the wind!... (see Pt.2)

😃😃😃 (By the way, my best Arthurian novel is not Ted White's "Once and Future King" It's M.Z. Bradley's "The Mists of Avalon"

Thank you, my friend! Although I did not specify it, 'phantom nurses' in the prompt led the model to do a 'Silent Hill' visual

  • @CaylaCatz ·

I read both of them so long ago I don't remember either one any more. So many books, so little memory. Sniffs.

  • @legion ·

Very good, my friend; those nurses remind me of the ones from Silent Hill.

  • @CaylaCatz ·

yeah, I think I saw part 2 before I saw part 1. you know me, I do things backwards

  • @panos ·

..true for all of us.... I too have glimpses of them in my memory....

  • @CaylaCatz ·

laughing, I hope not. Living backwards as well would get mighty confusing
