Blue Tsunami: Now it's time to deliver ||I'm still a bit skeptical, though I'm at least feeling more optimistic now. 😄|| Also, I’d argue that Mr. Mayor was among the major catalysts—the earthquake, so to speak—that triggered the Blue Tsunami. So here’s a tribute to him (also because I like this guy lol).

About this image

This advocacy graphic reworks Katsushika Hokusai's iconic Great Wave off Kanagawa ukiyo-e woodblock print to convey modern political messaging. It uses warm vintage cream and deep navy blue tones, with three "pending" stamps for affordability, ICE oversight, and war powers at the bottom and a top-right "now it's time to deliver" header. The tone is urgent and actionable, leaning into the dramatic looming wave imagery to highlight overdue policy priorities.

This surreal digital illustration blends iconic Hokusai great wave ukiyo-e styling with a determined professional man in a sharp navy business suit striding across churning deep blue ocean surf. Warm golden sunrise rays stream from behind the figure, gilding intricate curled wave crests and flying water splashes. The tone is empowering and motivational, leaning into themes of leadership, overcoming adversity, and extraordinary business success.

very cool. If it just slows down and stalls some of the stuff that's been happening, I'll be happy. Stopping that momentum from picking up more speed is good. But some people are really into power so I'm sure it's going to be a tough road. I just hope someone doesn't start a war just to prove they are still powerful. That's my big worry.
