2026-Nov-04 : First Post of the day Rooster, resting after a hard morning of crowing

Prompt

Dave Hill + HDR tone-mapped digital capture, where Dave Hill's gritty composite retouching creates sculpted, hard-edged dodging and burning with muted chroma and crunchy micro-contrast through selective frequency sharpening, and HDR tone mapping infuses compressed dynamic range via merged exposures, lifting shadows and holding highlights into flat, glowing midtones. The fusion manifests as heavy clarity halos along high-contrast edges, over-sharpened surface grain on every material, and warm highlights against cool teal shadows, transforming any subject through uniform hyper-detail and a polished glassy finish. About this image

A handsome free range rooster rests comfortably on a bed of dry fallen leaves, warm golden sunset light catching his bright red comb, fiery orange neck feathers, and iridescent teal body plumage. Soft blurred bokeh of autumn trees and wild plants fill the background, creating a calm, peaceful pastoral mood. The shallow depth of field highlights the intricate, textured layering of his plumage for a striking natural bird portrait.
