About this image

This moody dark fantasy illustration features a gnarled root-woven forest entity holding a weathered cracked skull mask, pale ghost moths drifting from its empty shadowed hood. Warm golden backlight filters through twisted gnarled tree canopy, contrasting against cool teal mist filling the surrounding haunted woodland. The tone is somber and eerie, with rich textured painterly details leaning into grim dark folk horror aesthetics.
