About this image

This thick impasto oil painting depicts a confident fisherwoman with wild auburn hair, holding a freshly caught mackerel while standing on a rough seaside fishing dock. The artwork uses warm earthy ochre, muted teal, and worn neutral tones, with heavy textured brushstrokes that highlight wet skin, draped fishing net, and weathered wood. Choppy ocean waters and distant fishing trawlers fill the background, creating a warm, rustic maritime atmosphere.

This rich textured impasto painting depicts a wet red-haired angler proudly displaying a large wild rainbow trout on a rocky mountain river shore. Muted warm taupe, burnt orange, and deep charcoal tones form a moody atmospheric backdrop of pine treeline and hazy distant mountains. Thick expressive brushstrokes lend tactile depth to the piece, celebrating the quiet triumph of backcountry fishing.
