A tattered dark dragon hovers in a decaying Gothic cavern framed by a massive glowing full moon

About this illustration

A photorealistic surreal scene features a scaled, tattered-winged dragon hovering in a crumbling cathedral cavern, backlit by a luminous giant full moon. This atmospheric dark fantasy artwork works perfectly for game assets, fantasy book covers, and spooky themed design projects.

Prompt: “A surreal, photorealistic scene: A gigantic, tattered, dark dragon hovers before a massive, luminous full moon in a vast, decaying cavern with cathedral-like Gothic arches and soaring stone pillars. The composition, using a low perspective and close-up to medium close-up” — AI-generated and reviewed for quality before listing.

Editor's note (8.0/10): The image strongly matches the brief, has atmospheric lighting, a strong low-angle composition, and only minor negligible detail softness on distant stone surfaces.
