Explore the stories that can be told through facial expressions that express different human emotions.
Run by DavidP's Eclectic Gallery · hosted by @DavidP · – · 29 entries from 12 creators
Pieces span digital illustration, candid photography, studio portraiture, film noir, webtoon, watercolor and surreal fantasy styles. Subjects center on close-up and full-body depictions of people expressing a wide range of human emotions, from joy and confidence to sadness, fear, determination and resilience. Color palettes shift from warm golden, bright saturated tones for uplifting scenes to desaturated muted and high-contrast monochrome palettes for tense or somber moods, with most compositions focused tightly on the emotional expression of the featured person.
