About this image

A moody, neon-lit bar scene features a bearded man in a denim shirt and cowboy hat leaning at a wooden bar with a Jim Beam bottle and a glass of whiskey. The background glows with red and blue neon signs (Lone Star, Whiskey Bent) and a retro jukebox, creating a gritty, western nightlife vibe perfect for bars, bourbon, and speakeasy-themed content.

Great pic. I love that the jukebox referenced the songs in the song and that he holding Jim Bean --- the whole bottle, lol. Haven't heard Williams Jr in ages. Blast from the past and the song too is very nostalgic with the older songs it referenced. I knew them all as my dad used to play Hank Williams.

Funny, I always thought of country as better for heartbreak and loss, borrowing more from some of its bluesy birthrights. For Sex, drugs and rock n roll I'd lean more into rock n roll, and of course rock. Now what this, kicks off proper after the first minute intro https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I7j-aTLQNV0

That was a great clip! Many years ago the running gag about country music was: "What happens if you play a country music song backwards? You get your wife back, your truck back, your dog back..."

Thank you. The jukebox was a good effect. Earliest musical memory is riding in pickup with my dad, hearing Hank, Sr. on the old country station!

@paulie Hilarious. Glad you enjoyed the Blockheads. Maybe hunt down Billericay Dickie on YT- it takes it up a notch

Great image, and enjoyed the song. Quite interesting how much country music was shared throughout this challenge

Sex, Drugs and rock & roll. Alcohol and country are a better fit!

That's pretty awesome. I love how songs can bring back memories. That sounds like a good memory. My dad had records by both Hanks so we'd listen to them at home.
