Well, judging by the votes, my official entry (a mother and child crying in the middle of a disaster) wasn’t quite dramatic enough 😅 Anyway, here are a couple more extra renders I did for the “End of the World” challenge.

About this image

Dramatic apocalyptic fantasy illustration depicting the fall of an ancient Mayan civilization, as erupting volcanoes spew thick ash and flaming meteorites rain down over stone pyramid temples. A towering turquoise tsunami crashes toward the sinking coastal city, as crumbling stone plummets into newly formed chasms and glowing fire and smoke fill the stormy sunset sky. The mood is chaotic and cataclysmic, blending warm fiery orange, roiling grey ash, and turbulent ocean teal for vivid dramatic contrast.

This hyper-detailed cinematic fantasy artwork depicts the catastrophic fall of a coastal Mayan city, as smoking volcanoes erupt, flaming meteorites streak across a stormy orange sky, and a towering turquoise tsunami surges toward the shore. Weathered stone step pyramids crumble into glowing lava-filled chasms, while thick ash clouds billow above the surrounding tropical jungle. The mood is chaotic, urgent, and apocalyptic, layered with warm fiery orange, charcoal gray, and deep ocean teal tones.
