Entry in the Your Inktober drawings theme on BudgetPixel.

Inktober 2026 Day 11 : Rescue 1. My original drawing. the concept was "rescue" . It's a kasa-obake (umbrella spirit yokai) rescuing a kitten by sheltering it from the rain. Can you see it? Prompt: ***cutely scary horrorcore wondercore, stormcore, enchanted storybook vibe*** Note: Horrorcore and wondercore are words I've seen recently for prompts and hashtags so just checking them out. I made up stormcore to make a cozy storm as the AI didn't recognize the slashes on my image as rain. sniffs. 2. Flux 3 (closest to my drawing) 3. GPT 2.5 Flare (a colorized version of my drawing with sparkles thrown in) 4. Nano Banana 2.1 (I like this the best except for hte cat's eyes. Does the cat look high to you?) 5. Grok 2 (those teeth give the Kasa-obake a creepy vibe) 6. Seedeam 5 Pro (where did Pinocchio come from???) October is Inktober month where people are challenged to do one ink drawing a day. You can find the list of this year's prompt on the Inktober site. There are other daily drawing prompt sites https://inktober.com/rules

My favorites are 4 and 5; in the fourth one, the cat gets those weird eyes... and what does Pinocchio do in the last one?

Cute! Though I'm also wondering how Pinocchio got involved 😅
