Multi-panel comedy webcomic of a fantasy podcast with furry co-hosts interviewing an adventurer about haunted fortress
This playful multi-panel fantasy webcomic follows the Ghostbusting Besties podcast, where an anthropomorphic cat and rabbit interview a robed adventurer about his chaotic cursed location explorations. The cozy dark podcast studio features neon signage, on-air microphones, and silly conversational jokes about gargoyle etiquette and demon summoning fails. The art has warm painterly detail, with a humorous, lighthearted mood and deep purple neon accent colors.

Entry in the Haunted Halloween Chronicles theme on BudgetPixel.

A Ghostbusting Besties Podcast Special Guest: The Wizard @panos created the Wizard's character. I'm sure you've seen him. He pops all over the multiverse. The idea for the podcast with the Wizard as a guest popped up in a conversation here: https://budgetpixel.com/p/92583

Hey! I WAS up yo my neck in a witch's cauldron, hanging from a 'borrowed' witch's broomstick that was piloted by a cackling WitchBard who wanted to play 'Top Gun' and do loops! I mean, what's a wizard to do in such circumstances?!

TheBard

Just relax in your soup and look delicous ... *cackle cackle* ... damn, that witch costume still has some side effects 😁 I'm sure, if we do some more tries, we can pull off the loop ! 😁 Comon ...

CaylaCatz

Could be worse. He could be atop a young fiery dragon and convincing it to do a diving loop for the adrenaline rush. At least with a plane, you usually get a parachute.

TheBard

Great comic 😁 ... yeah yeah, "never summon extra problems to solve the first problem" says the guy who just summoned Belial on a Witch date gone wrong 😜 @panos

TheBard

😁 ... not sure about the rules ... do I have to look ? (are we spamming to much in CaylaCatz post ?)

TheBard

Just taking care of those poor abandoned brooms, who needs a license for that 😁

panos

Oh, Belial, not agaiiiiin!!!....

Thank YOU, Cayla! Well, they have an attraction there, a giant Flaming Eye at the top of a tower. It glares all around, saying ominously: 'I SEE YOU!" Hilarious! Took some selfies with that in the background and.let me tel you... Katrina REALLY loved them! seeing me there, put her in a.. uhh... certain mood... (OK, now I AM blushing) Thus, a second star.

CaylaCatz

Thank you! Yay, I'm glad you thought it was funny. I thought it went well with the Wizard summoning a Demon Prince to escape witches and other problems. Later I realized it's actually pretty good advice even if you remove the haunted house bit.

CaylaCatz

yay, I'm glad you like it. I couldn't resist. I'm really surprised you didn't give Mordor 1 star. Maybe you found a grimoire so it got a star. Thanks for the award.
