Armored knight kneels over a slain dragon while a grateful kneeling woman watches at his side
This dramatic baroque oil painting depicts a triumphant armored knight resting his hand on a defeated dragon, steel sword planted at his side as a grateful young woman kneels beside him. Deep chiaroscuro lighting casts warm golden highlights against deep shadow, building a tense, reverent epic mood. The gory slain dragon and stormy mountain backdrop reinforce the classic mythic legend of saint and monster.
