Hand drawn pen sketch of a surprised person — AI art by @CaylaCatz

Entry in the Your Inktober drawings theme on BudgetPixel.

*Inktober 2026 Day 7 : Panic* 1. My original drawing. 2. Reference image--not from sketch but to make the sketch. Now I had no clue how to draw "panic" so I first created a "panic" picture with muse so I had a something to look at for my sketch. Prompt: "running away from a big cute monster in panic screaming towards the camera" Artists will look at something to draw or paint whether it's a photo or a collage of images for different parts of their scene (like a collage of a person running, a person screaming, a cute monster, an alley). Why not just make your scene with AI so you have exactly what you want? So what do you think? How close did I come? laughing ***Original sketch to image set*** the next set is my original drawing in image to image plus this prompt: "full color, inkpunk" color is important to mention or you end up with black/gray and white like your sketch 3. nano banana 2.1 (45 credit) 4. muse 1.0 (12 credit) 5. gpt 2.5 flare (30 credit) 6. p-image (15 credit) October is Inktober month where people are challenged to do one ink drawing a day. You can find the list of this year's prompt on the Inktober site. There are other daily drawing prompt sites https://inktober.com/rules

First Frankenstein, then this guy. You think all the monsters want to be friends! We should invite them all to .... the Monster Mash!

Isn't it a fun song? plus it's a perfect song to make an AI image for. So many imaginative possible visuals!
