***Inktober 2026 Day 6 : Ogre 1. My original drawing. Yay! my phone picture taking skills has improved! **All done in Muse** 2. Prompt: "full-color crayonpunk" 3. Prompt: "full-color crayon maximalism" I had said before that putting "punk" on the end of a word can function as if you're using "maximalism" so I thought I'd test that assumption. 4. Prompt: "full-color crayonpunk scene, include body and dynamic action pose, make it funny" 5. Prompt: "full-color crayon maximalism scene, include body and dynamic action pose, make it funny" **My conclusion on testing "crayonpunk" vs "crayon maximalism". ** In a way adding punk to a word makes it act as maximalism but maximalism is neutral when it adds a bunch of stuff so it reflects the underlying image like a cute image, adds cute stuff. I think maximalism riffs on a component in your prompts pumps it up. With -punk it looks like it adds a rebel/street tone so while it's still cute, it has a different edge. I think that's because the AI is picking up on -punk roots starting from "cyberpunk". So you see the little skull and the street alley. I've noticed sometimes you get cogs as it picks up on "steampunk" instead of "cyberpunk" sometimes. Those two are the most influential and popular "punk" words. so I tried this for #6 -- I removed the cyberpunk influence. 6. "full-color crayonpunk scene, include body and dynamic action pose, make it funny. No cyberpunk influence." I feel like the 3 bears and this one landed in-between #4 & #5. Not quite as street-influenced as #4, not quite as cutesy as #5. So what do you think? October is Inktober month where people are challenged to do one ink drawing a day. You can find the list of this year's prompt on the Inktober site. There are other daily drawing prompt sites https://inktober.com/rules

I like it; number 3 is my favorite because he looks stoned—with those eyes—and the pigeon is staring at him in amazement. I also like the last one; he seems the cutest, but he's wearing a Freddy Krueger sweater—maybe they're related.
