Bound kneeling captive kneels before an elderly crowned king on a crumbling throne in a misty moonlit gothic hall
This grimdark fantasy illustration depicts a desolate ruined gothic throne room, lit by faint torchlight and a full moon peeking through broken vaulted arches. An ancient, weary king in fur-lined robes glares down at a ragged, tied prisoner kneeling in thick fog across the flooded stone floor, discarded armor littering the throne steps. The mood is heavy, foreboding and somber, rendered in muted shadowy tones with deep contrast between cool moonlit mist and warm flickering candle glow.
