Loose pencil sketch of an owl peeking out from a hollow tree trunk
This casual hand-drawn pencil sketch shows a wide-eyed owl nesting inside the rounded hollow of a tall tree. Entry in the Your Inktober drawings theme on BudgetPixel.

Inktober 2026 Day 4 : Cactus 1. My original drawing. I think I did better with my phone pic this time. I used the flash and that helped a lot. The next set of 5 are img-to-img using my drawing with this prompt. This time I tried an experiment. Everything is in Muse but I change the prompt to see how it uses my not so great drawing. Let me know what you think about this. Model: Muse 1.0 image-to-image Prompts: 1. my original image as is uploaded and used for all the image-to-image prompts 2. renaissance painting x anime (sniffs. Muse didn't recognize the cactus the elf owl was nesting in as a cactus. It thought it was a tree!) 3. elf owl in a saguaro, renaissance painting x anime (If I tell Muse, it's a cactus, it says "Oh that makes sense, those are ridges of a saguaro cactus.") 4. using image 1 elf owl in a saguaro, uncanny logic, analytic cubism, desertpunk (I found when I started to use more words I needed to remind it to use my image. Why this combination of art words? I like to throw unrelated art words together and see what happens) 5. using image 1 elf owl in a saguaro, patchwork wondercore, enchanted storybook style, kawaii anime (I'm not good at keywords, so I asked copilot for keywords on one of my anime apple image and used them here: wondercore, enchanted storybook style. Wondercore is a new word for me so I'll be experimenting with it) 6. using image 1 elf owl in a saguaro, large pieces of aquarelle segmented glass collage with uncanny logic curving art nouveau brass lines (I did a gpt 1.5 demoness image that had a cool stained glass look. The same prompt from 6 months ago doesn't work now in later models. So this is a small experiment to recreate the look. It failed to recreate that look but I do love the look it did create.) October is Inktober month where people are challenged to do one ink drawing a day. You can find the list of this year's prompt on the Inktober site. There are other daily drawing prompt sites https://inktober.com/rules
