Bakeneko repairs his customer, a kasa-obake. Being a one-hundred year old or older umbrella spirit does mean one has to get refurbished once in a while. I bet you were wondering what happened to all the lost umbrellas. now you know! This was a hard one to do. A kasa-obake is a yokai. an umbrella that survives more than a 100 years gains it's own spirit and comes alive. In manga, it is typically depicted as having the handle as a leg and one big eye on it's parasol. It will often also have a mouth with a really long tongue too. for some reason, the models had a hard time doing this. I went through most of them until finally Flux 2 Pro did a perfect job! so yay for Flux 2 Pro Winner! 1. Flux 2 Pro Fails. 2. Muse. Cute but no cigar 3. Wan 2.6. Almost right but the umbrella doesn't look alive 4. SeeDream 5 Lite. Pretty good actually except the handle doesn't look like a leg 5. Nano Banana 2 Lite. It's not a kasa-obake. It's a ghost carrying an umbrella. Cute scene tho. 6. Krea 2 Medium. I like the look except it's another one with the ghost carrying an umbrella

~oh this is such a good piece of lore/world building CC. of course, these animated objects would need repair because they can't heal themselves. I would love to make a character like this in GG&F!
