Muscular construction worker stands on a sunset construction site under a Happy National Comic Book Day banner
This bold retro comic book style illustration celebrates National Comic Book Day, set on a bustling midcentury urban construction site at warm golden hour sunset. A towering broad-shouldered lead worker wearing a skull-stamped hard hat stands center, as his fellow tradesmen share playful grouchy dialogue bubbles commenting on his unusual physique. Warm sepia and amber tones, vintage pro-labor signage, and a cameo of classic hero The Phantom create a whimsical nostalgic mood.
