precision footwork untouched blades bring battle luck — sword slices paper ©2026 rooftop sword dancer, I submitted an image I liked but then I remembered the Scottish sword dance from a cozy mystery book I read recently. Well darn missed opportunity. Then origami humans came up. I thought, hmmm, why not. I made two. This one made me think of Spanish flamingo dancers so I submitted the other one. Love the way the first two lines honour the history behind the sword dance, though to be totally realistc, dancer doesn't hold the sword in the actual dance. Like the origami styling

I was fascinated when @DavidP submitted a Scottish sword dance for the last challenge, so I went to read up more about it. In the traditional Gillie Callum, the dancer does not hold or swing a sword; instead, they dance around and over two swords laid crosswise on the ground. But I understand the unintended misconception and get why you presented it this way!
