Entry in the Magical Animal Friends theme on BudgetPixel.

Shadows hold secrets, recording everything. Looking into their shadows, they remember the nights shared with friends, laughing. For now, they are called to earth, to haunt, to cause mischief, to teach lessons. But they can't wait until the job is finished and they can go home, go back to hell to hang out with their family and friends.

the prompt is just bakeneko but it doesn't specify. I wanted to see waht the AI model would choose. But this is not one I know. However, there is thousands of bakeneko so there is no way for me to know all of them. The yokai.com site is pretty good at introducing me to new ones tho. They have a latest section at the bottom of the page I like to check out sometimes.

yay! the nekomata for the win! lol. Reminds me a bit of the maneki neko.

CaylaCatz

laughing, I like the nekomata too. Don't you think he looks a little like a maneki neko?

legion

It might remind you of it because the arm is raised, holding the parasol.
