About the entries
Works span whimsical fantasy, dark fantasy, ukiyo-e, and watercolor illustration styles, centered on magical animals, anthropomorphic creatures, and supernatural beings paired with human and fey characters. Common subjects include enchanted forest settings, cozy village scenes, mythical spirit creatures, and gentle magical interactions between different fantasy characters. Palettes range from warm golden twilight and lantern glow to moody cool twilight and stormy dark tones, with occasional bold gilded and red Japanese motif accents. Most pieces carry warm welcoming or quiet mystical moods, with some dramatic epic and playful gothic tones mixed in.
