**Happy National Comic Book Day!** Alicia is so suprised when Hoppy the Marvel Bunny magically emerges from her collectible comic book. Created by Chad Grothkopf, Hoppy the Marvel Bunny is a spin-off of Captain Marvel who debuted in Fawcett's Funny Animals #1 in December 1942, initiating an eleven-year run with Fawcett Comics that lasted until the publisher ceased comic operations in 1953. Hoppy was a bunny who wished he was Captain Marvel and said Shazaam and it worked! DC has since acquired the character and Hoppy occasionally still pops up. Fawcett comicbooks closed in 1953 because DC sued Fawcett saying Captain Marvel infringed on Superman. the suit started in 1941 and continued for 12 years. While Captain Marvel outsold Superman during mid1940s, later comic book sales in general dropped, leading Fawcett to settle with DC in 1953 rather than to keep fighting, close their comicbook division and focus on magazines. 1. It's gone a little crazy but here's a National Day site to help you keep track. Today is also one-hit wonder day, open the magic day, lobster day, and more, lol https://nationaldaycalendar.com/what-day-is-it

Nice! I like numbers 3 and 4 the best; in number 4, it looks like the rabbit is transitioning from ink lines to 3D.
