I took this photo about 15 years ago and edited it myself back then; now, I’ve just improved the resolution using Nano Bababa Pro.

About this image

This dramatic dark fantasy portrait features a long-haired goth metalhead posed against an infernal backdrop of swirling orange and red smoke dotted with tiny floating glowing embers. The subject wears alternative fashion including a grim reaper graphic band t-shirt, studded choker and armored arm guards, with digitally composited curved red demon horns and large black bat wings extending from their shoulders. The warm, moody color palette leans into classic heavy metal, occult, and dark gothic aesthetic themes.
