About this image

This whimsical surreal fantasy artwork depicts a disbelieving, paint-stained female artist in a rustic sunlit art studio, staring in astonishment as the wilderness scene on her easel comes to life. Water cascades off the painted stream onto the floor, while live rainbow trout sit in the artist's arms, and the thick impasto canvas features a waving bear, stag, foxes, flying bald eagle, and glowing fireflies. Warm golden window light and a playful premise highlight the magical moment a painter's creation breaks the boundary between the canvas and the real world.
