Saw the theme and decided to do a surfer "riding" the meteor. For the surfer, I took reference from the female Silver Surfer from the Marvel movie Fantastic Four. I saw a few similar entries but they had a surfboard on the meteor and wondered if that was a little unnecessary. Despite getting a pretty good ranking for it (18th out of 49 enties, got more wins but left out of the top 10 due to lower ELM score), I didn't feel pretty good about submitting this piece. I had thought about submitting a piece on shooting star (which is technically a meteor too) but was unsure if it would deviate too much from the theme and votes. Guess I should have been a little more adventurous and gone with that instead of coming up with something that most people would also be doing.
