Armored horned Raijin Japanese thunder god plays glowing taiko drums…

About this image

This epic dark fantasy digital illustration depicts Raijin, the traditional Japanese Shinto god of thunder, standing atop a jagged mountain peak above a roiling sea of storm clouds. Crackling bright blue lightning arcs around the horned, armored deity as he strikes ornate, rune-marked glowing taiko drums, with a futuristic Tokyo cityscape and small torii gate shrines visible peeking through the cloud layer far below. The moody, high-energy piece uses deep indigo and black tones contrasted with glowing electric blue highlights to build a dramatic, powerful mythological atmosphere.
