Macabre surreal horror painting of a spiked crowned decaying giant…

About this image

This unsettling dark surrealist oil painting centers on a massive decaying humanoid figure crowned with sharp thorns, with bleeding wounds and an embedded all-seeing eye looming over a blood-stained checkered chessboard floor. The mood is menacing and nightmarish, rendered in a muted palette of ash gray, dusty beige, deep black, and visceral blood red, populated by tiny hooded cult figures, floating celestial orbs, distant gothic spires, and a giant cosmic eye watching from the stormy sky. The work leans into cosmic horror and dark religious allegory, depicting a twisted, nightmarish hellscape full of visceral, decaying organic textures.
